Getting Started

Set up your provider profile, get your Health Provider ID, and start seeing patients.

1

Getting a clinician account

There are two ways to get a clinician account, and both keep it separate from any patient account (your own clinical record stays apart from the patients you treat):

  • Apply yourself — from your patient profile (Account → Profile), use the "Are you a healthcare provider?" card. We set up your practice and put it on a verification waitlist; upload your credentials (medical license, registration) and we review them.
  • Be added by an organization — a clinic/hospital admin adds you as a provider from their Organization page. You don't need an existing private practice; the organization provisions the account for you, and you simply sign in with that email to access it.

Your patient and clinician accounts can share the same email or phone — they're linked, and you switch between them from the profile page in one click. Clinical writes (seeing patients, prescribing) unlock once your practice's KYC is verified.

Secure your account. Because you'll be handling patient data, turn on two-factor authentication from Account → Profile. Even simpler, register a passkey there too — sign in with Face ID, a fingerprint, or your device PIN instead of a password or code. It's faster and phishing-resistant.

2

Complete your provider profile

Go to Account → Complete Profile. Fill in your specialty, degree, medical license number, institution name, and address. These details appear on every prescription you generate.

You can update these details at any time from Account → Complete Profile. Changes take effect on all future prescriptions.

3

Find your Health Provider ID

After completing your profile, your Health Provider ID (starts with HP-) appears on your profile page. This is your unique identifier within the Mercurie network.

Patients can use your HP ID to connect with you directly from the patient portal.

4

Share your QR code

Go to Account → QR Code to see your personal QR code. Print it and place it in your waiting room or clinic — patients scan it to connect with you instantly. You can also share your short link (/id/HP-xxx) digitally.

Scanning the QR code opens your public provider profile in the patient's browser. They can connect with one tap if they're already signed in.

5

Explore the provider portal

Use the left sidebar to navigate: Dashboard for an overview, Patients to manage your patient list, Schedule for appointments, and Scribe for AI-assisted clinical note-taking.
