5Description of Service
Mercurie is an AI-native Electronic Medical Record platform for clinicians and patients. The Service includes:
- An AI medical scribe that generates structured notes from in-person, voice, and video consultations.
- Storage and querying of medical records (uploaded prescriptions, lab reports, imaging studies, scribe-generated notes).
- Telehealth voice consults (via Plivo) and video consults (via 100ms), with consult audio routed into the scribe pipeline.
- Patient–provider record sharing under explicit consent.
- For users in India: ABHA address generation and bidirectional record exchange via the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) network as a registered Health Information Provider (HIP) and Health Information User (HIU).
6Healthcare Provider Profiles
While we strive to maintain the quality of information on our platform, we do not verify or validate healthcare provider profiles. Users are responsible for independently verifying the authenticity and credentials of healthcare providers.
7Fees & Price Changes
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance per the plan you select; all prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST in India), which are added at checkout. Usage-based (pay-as-you-go) charges — including AI usage, telehealth voice and video, and SMS — are metered and billed in arrears at our underlying provider cost plus a stated markup. Current rates are shown on the pricing page and your live usage and rates on your billing dashboard.
Our prices depend on the cost of third-party services we rely on (AI model providers, telephony, messaging and infrastructure vendors), as well as currency exchange rates and taxes. We reserve the right to revise our prices — including subscription fees, usage rates and markups — when these underlying costs change or for other commercial reasons. For usage-based charges, updated rates apply to usage from the effective date. For subscription fees, we will give you reasonable advance notice before the change takes effect at your next renewal; continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance, and you may cancel before renewal if you do not agree.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable other than for documented failure of the Service. Free tiers and promotional discounts may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
8Payments to Clinics
Where a clinic enables payment collection, patient payments for consultations and related services are processed directly through the clinic's own payment provider, into the clinic's account. Mercurie acts only as a technology facilitator that initiates the payment on the clinic's behalf; Mercurie is not the merchant of record, is not a party to the transaction, and does not hold, receive, or control these funds.
The clinic is solely responsible for the consultation fee, for any taxes on it, and for handling refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks. For any refund or payment query, patients should contact the clinic directly in the first instance; unresolved disputes may be escalated to legal@mercurie.ai or the relevant consumer forum.
The amount charged is set by the provider at the time the service is resolved and may be the listed fee, a reduced amount, or nothing (for example, where the patient is referred onward, deferred, or moved to an in-person visit). Mercurie does not take a share of the consultation fee.
