AI Record Query
Ask natural language questions about a patient's health records and get sourced answers instantly — now built into the Mercurie Concierge.
Record query is no longer a separate button on the Records tab. It's now part of the Mercurie Concierge — the AI assistant you open from the sparkles icon in the top-right of any provider page. The same record-aware answers, in the assistant you already use for the rest of your day. See the full Mercurie Concierge guide.
Open the concierge
Click the sparkles icon in the top-right of any provider page. A chat panel slides in from the right. Open the patient's chart first (or name the patient in your question) so the concierge knows whose records to search.
Type your question
Type a plain language question in the chat box and press Enter. No special syntax is needed — write it the way you would ask a colleague.
- "What medications has this patient been prescribed?"
- "What were their blood sugar levels in the last lab report?"
- "Are there any documented allergies?"
- "Summarise the last 3 consultation notes."
Read the sourced answer
The AI returns a summary with citations — each piece of information links back to the specific document it came from. Click any citation to open the source document.
The AI only searches documents that have been shared with you — it cannot access records outside your patient relationship.
Ask follow-up questions
The query session maintains context — you can ask follow-up questions without repeating the patient's details. For example: "What dose was prescribed?" after asking about a medication.
AI record query draws on your organization's AI usage allowance. Results are for informational use — always verify against the source documents before making clinical decisions.
